GTBOS8 - FG GT Falcon with Yella Terra Intercooled Whipple Supercharger kit

The boys from Yella Terra have asked us to post up some pics and information of this FG GT we recently performed a Yella Terra Intercooled 2.4 litre Whipple supercharger installation on. This one is an automatic with about 2300km on the clock.

The owner of this particular car previously had a BF GT with a Yella Terra Whipple kit on and wanted the same performance and driving experience on his brand new FG. With this in mind we put together a package including the 8-rib direct drive, intercooled Yella Terra Whipple kit, DiFilippo extractors, DF dual 3” exhaust, new HPF pod filter cold air intake and custom HPF flash tune.

The car came in with 224rwkw and drove out with 351rwkw from around 10psi of boost. Whats more impressive than the 120+kw gain at the tyres is the dramatic improvement in driveability and effortless power from any point in the rev range, this makes the car so much nicer to drive on the road, turning a fairly fast road car into a true Super GT in the vein of the BMW M5 and AMG63's. As usual with the Yella Terra Twin screw kit, the appearance under the bonnet is all OEM quality, the covers still fit back on the kit integrates seamlessly with the new FPV throttle body and the new air box made in house at HPF looks and works a treat.

Being HPF's 3rd 315kw Boss engine to get one of these magic kits we can report a clean bill of health for all, the green FPV super pursuit headed down to Phillip island a couple of weeks ago for a track day with John Bowe, to say JB was impressed with the power, presentation and drive-ability of the YT blown 315 is an understatement!
