MRPSI is a purpose built dyno competition car that HPF were commissioned to build for a very good customer Lyle Lemon. His brief was simple, build a car that will push the limits of horsepower and win him trophies.

The car was completed only a matter of days before Summernats 2008 and after a quick run up on the dyno to test the tune and make sure all was healthy it was packed up and sent to Canberra.

With a completely new car and very limited testing everyone was ecstatic when it reeled off 1713rwhp. Unfortunately for Lyle this was only enough for second place to another HPF built and tuned car TRYHRD. MRPSI hit the rollers once again at VicSupercruz, and backed up its previous performance with a 1730rwhp run.

MRPSI will be back at Summernats 2009 with the goal of being the first car to crack 2000 rear wheel horsepower. HPF have just upgraded their dyno die down system to the same as that used at the Summernats so accurate testing can be done. With the rest of 2008 to be spent testing and preparing for Summernats 2009, HPF are quietly confident in achieving the 2000hp holy grail.
