Operation Drag Right VZ SS

The Police behind Operation Drag Right came to use with a desire to upgrade one their Drag Right cars to be more competitive at racing events. Operation Drag Right relies on donations from suppliers to operate and HPF were happy and honoured to participate.

The car is a manual L76 powered VZ SS which was donated to the operation, it appears its had a very hard life perhaps as a test car as evident by the unusual markings and well worn tyres! The amount of spider webs and dirt all over the car confirm that its also been sitting in a shed for some time. These things are no real concern as a lot of it will be replaced in the goal for low times at the track..

The upgrade plans will consist of an HPF Head and Cam Upgrade along with Extractors and OTR cold air intake. Parts used will be selected to provide the best setup for drag racing. We will continue the theme with a supporting drivetrain including an upgraded clutch and spooled diff with appropriate gearing. The car will also go on a diet to reduce weight whever possible to further help times.

While the car is here it will also cop (pun intended) the full Police package including stickers and lights.
