- 04/08/09

HPF are pleased to announce that our team of technicians have won the coveted SACHS Masters Challenge, hosted as part of the Australian Automotive Aftermarket Expo.

The HPF team of technicians was comprised of Ian Weightman, co-owner of HPF and senior tuners Martin Rogerson and Paul Farrell. The team was challenged to service, diagnose and repair various aspects of late model vehicles within a limited timeframe.

“The SACHS Masters is a unique opportunity to demonstrate the incredible talent we have here at HPF” explains Rob Vickery, co-owner of HPF, “it gives our customers the confidence that their vehicle is being looked after by the best”.

This is the first time that HPF has entered this event, making the trophy and the prize of $15,000 all the more rewarding.

About the SACHS Masters Challenge

The SACHS Masters is a unique opportunity for experienced automotive technicians to use their skills in a competitive environment.

A team-based competition, the SACHS Masters replicates many of the challenges faced on the workshop floor, with the added complexity of a strict time limit.

Teams from across Australia were chosen to compete as part of this three day event, where they were required to service, diagnose and repair various aspects of late model vehicles within the limited timeframe.

Expert judges determined the team to have best completed the most tasks, and this team was awarded the title of SACHS Masters 2009.

More information of the SACHS Masters can be found at www.sachsmasters.com.
