The HP-F Stage 2 Performance Package for the 2008-2012 Subaru Forester XT has been developed to unlock the next level of performance from the turbocharged EJ255 engine. By combining improved intake and exhaust flow with a bespoke ECU calibration, this package delivers stronger power, increased torque and improved turbocharger response while maintaining the reliability and practicality that make the Forester XT such a versatile performance SUV.

Every upgrade begins with a comprehensive pre-upgrade dyno assessment, establishing baseline power and torque figures before any modifications are carried out. This provides an accurate benchmark and allows us to clearly demonstrate the gains achieved throughout the upgrade process.

At the heart of the package is a Process West Cold Air Intake System, designed to maximise airflow into the turbocharger while reducing intake restriction. By allowing the engine to breathe more efficiently, the intake upgrade improves turbocharger response, enhances throttle response and supports increased power throughout the rev range.

To further improve performance, Stage 2 includes an Invidia Catted Downpipe, significantly reducing exhaust back pressure while maintaining emissions compliance through the use of a high-flow catalytic converter. The improved exhaust flow allows the turbocharger to spool more efficiently, helping deliver stronger mid-range torque, faster boost response and increased horsepower.

Together, the intake and exhaust upgrades create a more responsive and capable Forester XT, delivering stronger acceleration and noticeably improved performance across the entire powerband.

To maximise the benefits of these hardware upgrades, HP-F performs a bespoke custom ECU dyno calibration tailored specifically to your vehicle. Extensive dyno testing is utilised to optimise boost control, ignition timing, fuel delivery and throttle response, ensuring safe, reliable and repeatable performance gains.

Once tuning is complete, every vehicle undergoes comprehensive dyno validation and testing to verify performance, drivability and reliability. A final dyno run is then completed to compare against the original baseline figures, clearly demonstrating the improvements achieved through the Stage 2 package.

At the completion of the upgrade, you'll receive a detailed before-and-after dyno report showcasing the final power and torque gains. The result is a Forester XT that delivers noticeably stronger acceleration, faster turbocharger response and a significantly more engaging driving experience, while retaining excellent everyday drivability.
