The HPF Stage 3 upgrade for the Toyota GR Yaris is engineered for enthusiasts seeking the next level of performance, response and top‑end power. Building on the strong foundations of Stage 2, this package introduces a major mechanical enhancement with the addition of Kelford performance camshafts, allowing the G16E‑GTS engine to breathe more efficiently and deliver significantly improved power throughout the rev range.

Our technicians begin by removing the factory camshafts and installing the Kelford performance camshaft set, designed specifically to increase valve lift and duration. When paired with the previously upgraded Kelford KVS264 valve springs, this combination provides exceptional valvetrain stability, enabling the engine to maintain power at higher RPM and respond more aggressively under boost.

The Stage 3 package continues to utilise the high‑flow AFE Power cold‑air intake, XForce turbo‑back exhaust system, and Process West intercooler kit, ensuring the engine receives maximum airflow and consistent charge‑air cooling. These components work together to support the increased demands of the upgraded camshaft profile.

With the mechanical upgrades complete, we perform a full custom ECU recalibration on the dyno. This advanced tuning process optimises cam timing, boost control, fuel delivery, ignition timing and torque management to fully harness the benefits of the performance camshafts. The result is a broader, more aggressive powerband with stronger mid‑range torque and a noticeably harder‑pulling top end.

The upgrade is finalised with extensive dyno and road testing to validate drivability, boost response and overall engine behaviour in real‑world conditions. At completion, you will receive a dyno graph showing the before‑and‑after gains achieved by the HPF Stage 3 package.

The HPF Stage 3 upgrade represents a significant step forward in performance capability while maintaining the reliability and usability expected from the GR Yaris platform. As with all HPF packages, Stage 3 is modular and forms a solid foundation for customers looking to progress toward even higher‑level builds in the future.
