The i20N Stage 1 upgrade is designed to unlock the vehicle’s factory potential by improving airflow and optimising the ECU calibration. This package delivers a noticeable increase in power, torque and throttle response while maintaining the reliability and everyday drivability expected from the i20N platform.

Our trained technicians begin by fitting the Forge cold‑air intake system, replacing the restrictive factory airbox with a high‑flow unit engineered to improve the engine’s breathing efficiency. This upgrade allows the turbocharger to spool more freely and provides a cooler, denser air supply under all driving conditions.

With the intake system installed, we move to the calibration phase. Your vehicle is custom‑tuned on our chassis dyno using the latest ECU reprogramming tools. During this process we optimise all key parameters including boost control, fuel delivery, ignition timing and torque management strategies. The result is a sharper, more responsive driving experience with improved mid‑range torque and stronger top‑end performance.

Once the dyno calibration is complete, we conduct on‑road testing to validate the tune in real‑world conditions and make any final adjustments required to ensure smoothness, consistency and drivability. At the completion of the upgrade, you will receive a dyno graph comparing the before‑and‑after power and torque gains achieved by the HPF Stage 1 package.

Like all HPF upgrade packages, Stage 1 is fully modular. Customers can continue to build on this package—such as progressing to Stage 2—without duplicating costs or replacing components unnecessarily. • We recommend all vehicles coming to HPF for tuning run 98 Octane fuel. Please contact us if you have a need to use different fuel.

• We advise against increasing the power output substantially on high kilometer engines, if your engine has in excessive of 150,000kms please contact us to discuss options.
