The i20N Stage 2 upgrade builds on the foundations of Stage 1 by significantly increasing the engine’s airflow, cooling efficiency and exhaust flow capacity. This package replaces key factory restrictions with high‑performance components, allowing the ECU calibration to safely extract more power, torque and responsiveness from the 1.6T GDi engine.

Our trained technicians begin by fitting the Forge high‑flow airbox and Forge turbo inlet pipe kit, both designed to improve intake efficiency and reduce pressure drop before the turbocharger. This allows the turbo to spool faster and maintain boost more effectively across the rev range.

We then install the Wagner Tuning Competition intercooler kit, a substantial upgrade in charge‑air cooling capacity. This intercooler dramatically reduces intake temperatures, improving consistency under repeated acceleration, track use or spirited driving. To complement the increased airflow, we fit the X‑Force downpipe and high‑flow catalytic converter kit, reducing exhaust back‑pressure and enabling the turbocharger to operate more efficiently.

With the hardware installed, we move to the calibration phase. Your vehicle is custom‑tuned on our dyno using the latest ECU reprogramming tools, allowing us to optimise boost control, fuel delivery, ignition timing and torque management strategies. This ensures the upgraded hardware works together seamlessly while maintaining reliability and drivability.

We complete the upgrade process with both dyno and road testing to finalise the calibration and confirm consistent performance in real‑world conditions. At the end of the upgrade, you will receive a dyno graph comparing the before‑and‑after power and torque gains achieved by the HPF Stage 2 package.

Like all HPF upgrade packages, Stage 2 is fully modular. Customers can continue to build on this package in future without duplicating costs, ensuring a clear upgrade path as performance goals evolve.
