The HP-F Stage 2 Performance Package for the Ford Mustang GT has been developed to deliver a significant increase in power, torque and overall driving enjoyment from the legendary 5.0L Coyote V8. Combining improved intake airflow, a complete high-performance exhaust system and custom dyno calibration, this package unlocks the next level of naturally aspirated performance while maintaining excellent drivability and reliability.

Every upgrade begins with a comprehensive pre-upgrade dyno assessment, establishing baseline power and torque figures before any modifications are carried out. This allows us to accurately measure and demonstrate the gains achieved throughout the upgrade process.

At the heart of the package is a K&N Cold Air Intake System, designed to maximise airflow into the engine while reducing intake restriction. The improved airflow allows the Coyote V8 to operate more efficiently, delivering sharper throttle response and stronger performance throughout the rev range.

To further enhance engine breathing, Stage 2 incorporates a complete performance exhaust system featuring 1-7/8" ceramic-coated long-tube headers, high-flow catalytic converters and a dual 3-inch stainless steel cat-back exhaust with bi-modal valves. This combination dramatically improves exhaust flow, reduces back pressure and allows the engine to produce stronger horsepower and torque gains across the entire RPM range.

The addition of bi-modal valve technology provides the best of both worlds, offering a refined exhaust note during normal driving while unleashing the full character and sound of the Coyote V8 when performance is called upon.

To maximise the benefits of these upgrades, HP-F performs a bespoke custom ECU dyno calibration tailored specifically to your vehicle. Extensive dyno testing is utilised to optimise ignition timing, fuel delivery, throttle response and engine management parameters, ensuring safe, reliable and repeatable performance gains.

Once tuning is complete, every vehicle undergoes comprehensive dyno validation and testing to verify performance and drivability. A final dyno run is then completed to compare against the original baseline figures, clearly demonstrating the improvements achieved through the Stage 2 package.

At the completion of the upgrade, you'll receive a detailed before-and-after dyno report showcasing the final power and torque gains. The result is a Mustang GT that delivers stronger acceleration, improved throttle response, enhanced engine sound and a far more engaging driving experience while retaining everyday drivability.
