CHEV L5P 2500 SILVERADO 6.6L DIESEL STAGE 1 | 430KW

The Chevrolet L5P 2500 Silverado 6.6L Diesel Stage-1 upgrade starts with one of our trained technicians setting your vehicle up on one of our dynamometers and performing a baseline dyno run. This allows us to firstly make sure everything is working A-OK and secondly it gives us standard figure from your car to compare to once the upgrade is completed.  Once the baseline dyno run is done, we commence the upgrade by connecting the latest in ECU reprogramming tools which allows us to directly tune and optimize the trucks factory ECU parameters. The vehicle is then custom tuned on the dyno with up to 30% more power and torque released depending on which tune mode you select. As part of the HPF tune upgrade on your 2500, we offer 3 switchable on-the-fly tunes that can be selected from the steering wheel. Details below:

We complete the upgrade process by testing your vehicle on the dyno and the road to make final adjustments, optimizing your vehicle's performance and driveability. This is all completed in a day and at the end of this upgrade you will be provided with a dyno graph detailing the power & torque increase of your vehicle.

Position 0 – Offering around a 10% increase in power and torque over standard, this is essentially the standard tune with some torque limiters altered. The fuelling is actually leaner than the standard tune file and is designed for heavy towing and improved fuel economy.

Position 1 – Offering around a 20% increase in power and torque over standard, this tune is designed for normal driving and light to medium weight towing and should also offer an improvement in economy as the engine is now making 20% more power and torque whilst still maintaining standard air fuel ratios. 

Position 2 – Offering around a 30% increase in power and torque over standard, this is the highest performance tune we offer. This is not a towing tune as the fuel mixture is on the richer side but like all three tune file options, it still works happily with the standard catalytic converter and diesel particulate filter in place.
