The Stage 2 upgrade for the Corvette C8 is meticulously engineered to deliver significant performance enhancements through a carefully curated selection of high-quality components. The upgrade process begins with a pre-upgrade dyno run, allowing us to establish baseline power and torque figures for your vehicle. This initial run provides crucial data for measuring the performance gains achieved through the upgrade.

At the heart of the Stage 2 upgrade is the installation of a BTR GEN-V 225 camshaft upgrade kit in conjunction with Higgins CNC-ported heads featuring stainless steel valves. This high-performance combination is designed to maximize torque and power by optimizing engine airflow and improving throttle response. The result is a more aggressive power curve that translates into a noticeable increase in both horsepower and torque.

To further enhance engine performance, we install a K&N high-flow air intake kit. This system promotes better air circulation into the engine, maximizing airflow and enabling the engine to breathe more efficiently. As a result, the increase in air volume contributes to improved overall power output.

Next, we fit a Borla cat-back exhaust system, which elevates exhaust flow and delivers an exhilarating sound that perfectly accentuates the Corvette’s performance characteristics. Known for its lightweight design and free-flowing construction, the Borla exhaust system contributes to improved efficiency and performance while providing an aggressive exhaust note.

Once all components are fitted, a custom remapping of your vehicle's ECU is performed, which includes unlocking it and utilizing tuning credits. This important step ensures that all engine parameters are optimized to fully capitalize on the upgrades, maximizing power, torque, and fuel efficiency.

The upgrade process concludes with thorough labor dedicated to fitting the new components and conducting a post-upgrade dyno test. This final run allows us to compare the new results with the initial baseline figures, clearly demonstrating the significant improvements achieved through the Stage 2 upgrade.
