The HPF Stage 1 upgrade for the Ford FG FPV F6 and FGX XR6 Sprint is designed to enhance engine performance while maintaining reliability. The process begins with our trained technician modifying the air box and installing a high-flow K&N air filter to improve the engine's breathing capabilities. This initial modification sets the stage for increased airflow, which is essential for making power.

To complement the enhanced airflow, we increase the fuel supply to the engine by installing high-flow performance injectors and a high-flow fuel pump. These upgrades ensure that the engine receives an adequate fuel supply to match its increased air intake, optimizing performance potential. After these modifications, the vehicle’s ECU undergoes real-time tuning on a dynamometer using the latest Ford ECU tuning software. This tuning process is critical for maximizing power, torque, and fuel efficiency.

The upgrade process is completed with rigorous road testing to make final adjustments, fine-tuning the vehicle's overall performance and driveability. At the end of the upgrade, we provide customers with a dyno graph that compares the power and torque figures before and after the HPF upgrade, demonstrating the significant improvements achieved.

Like all HPF upgrade packages, the Stage 1 upgrade is modular, allowing customers the flexibility to add further enhancements in the future without incurring unnecessary expenses.
