The HPF Stage 2 upgrade for the Ford FG FPV F6 and FGX XR6 Sprint is designed to provide a notable enhancement in performance, building upon the foundation established in Stage 1. The upgrade begins with our trained technician modifying the air box and installing a high-flow air filter to further improve the engine’s breathing capabilities, setting the stage for increased performance.

To ensure adequate fuel delivery, we install high-flow performance injectors and a high-flow fuel pump, allowing for greater fuel supply to meet the demands of the enhanced airflow. Additionally, the restrictive factory catalytic converter is replaced with a high-flow 3-inch version, which facilitates improved exhaust flow and helps reduce back pressure. To optimize turbo performance, the wastegate control system is upgraded, enhancing our ability to better manage boost levels for improved power delivery.

Following these modifications, the vehicle’s ECU is tuned in real-time on a dynamometer using the latest Ford ECU tuning software. This tuning process is crucial for maximizing power, torque, and fuel efficiency, ensuring that all components work harmoniously together.

The final phase of the upgrade involves extensive road testing to make any necessary adjustments, fine-tuning the vehicle's overall performance and drivability. At the conclusion of the upgrade, you will receive a dyno graph comparing the power and torque figures before and after the HPF Stage 2 upgrade, showcasing the significant improvements achieved.

Like all HPF packages, the Stage 2 upgrade is modular, allowing customers the option to add further enhancements in the future without unnecessary expenditures.
