HSV 6.2L HPF Stage 2 | 350KW
The HPF LS3 Stage-2 upgrade starts with our trained technician fitting a Harrop ‘Over the Radiator’ Cold Air Induction system with a high flow, serviceable air filter element the same as Stage-1. Stage-2 goes further adding a higher flowing – and much better sounding – Pacemaker dual 3” catback (dual 2.5” for wagon) exhaust system. We then custom tune your vehicle's ECU on the dyno utilizing the latest ECU tuning software to maximize power and torque and to optimize fuel efficiency. We complete the upgrade process by testing your vehicle on the road to make final adjustments, optimizing your vehicle's performance and driveability. This is all completed in a day and at the end of this upgrade you will be provided with a dyno graph detailing the power & torque increase of your vehicle. Flex Fuel (E85) is an option, talk to one of our Sales Representatives.
- Cold Air Intake - The Harrop ‘Over the Radiator’ Air Induction (OTR) system features a large diameter free-flowing intake path to ensure maximum performance from your LS3 powered vehicle. It features a large surface area panel air filter mounted directly in front of the engines throttle body and is designed to draw straight in from the grille opening. This design assists in minimizing the restriction of air flow and eliminates the intake of hot air from inside the engine bay.
- Catback Exhaust System – A ‘Catback’ system is basically all the parts of the exhaust after the catalytic converters. It’s the section of exhaust where all the mufflers are placed and by using larger diameter pipe and high flowing mufflers more performance and better sound is achieved. HPF works closely with our 2 major exhaust suppliers Pacemaker and Manta. The advantage we find of having two suppliers is we remain flexible in terms of price, availability and product selection. Pacemaker offers a 5-year warranty and are built in Richmond, South Australia while Manta offers a 10-year warranty and has manufacturing in both Belmont, Western Australia and Melton, Victoria.
- Dyno Tuning – By optimizing the engine tune parameters in the vehicles PCM to suit 98 octane fuel, we are able to increase both power and torque and maximise fuel economy. Late model naturally aspirated cars are generally tuned very well from the manufacturer so depending on the vehicle platform mechanical parts to improve the engines intake & exhaust flow may need to be added to really get good gains. Engines fitted with a turbocharger from factory are much easier to enhance as increasing boost pressure by tuning works extremely well.

Key Features
Engine power enhancement is primarily about removing restrictions to the engine being able to breathe more air in and out. The Stage-1 addresses the primary restriction of the air intake. The OTR intake provides the engine clean, cold air in a straight path from the grille opening. This intake will provide enough air for at least 525kw (700hp). The Stage-2 replaces the ‘catback’ exhaust section which features larger exhaust pipe diameter and higher flow mufflers for increased flow and better sound.
Notes
- Power figures are estimates only and actual figure's may vary based on each specific vehicle.
- We recommend all vehicles coming to HPF for tuning run 98 Octane fuel. Please contact us if you have a need to use different fuel.
- Quoted power figures are approximate and calculated at the flywheel.
- Modifications such as this package require the vehicle to be in excellent mechanical order.
- We advise against increasing the power output substantially on high kilometer engines, if your engine has in excessive of 150,000kms please contact us to discuss options.
- Whilst every attempt is made to ensure prices listed online are correct, they are subject to change at any time.
- Additional parts may be required in some cases depending on the condition of the vehicle. Cost of these parts and additional labor required may incur additional cost.
- Final price may vary dependent on specific options chosen.
- Some automatic transmission models may require a cooler kit at additional cost.
