The HP-F Stage 2 Performance Package for the Hyundai i30 N MY21-MY25 has been developed to unlock the next level of performance from Hyundai's turbocharged 2.0L T-GDi engine. Combining increased intake airflow, enhanced intercooling, improved exhaust flow and bespoke ECU calibration, this package delivers substantial gains in power, torque and throttle response while maintaining excellent drivability and reliability.

Every upgrade begins with a comprehensive pre-upgrade dyno assessment, establishing baseline power and torque figures before any modifications are carried out. This provides an accurate benchmark and allows us to clearly demonstrate the gains achieved throughout the upgrade process.

At the heart of the package is an AFE Takeda Momentum Cold Air Intake System, designed to maximise airflow into the turbocharger while reducing intake restriction. By supplying cooler, denser air to the engine, the intake upgrade enhances turbocharger efficiency and helps support increased power production throughout the rev range.

To further enhance performance and consistency, Stage 2 incorporates a Wagner Tuning Competition Intercooler Upgrade. The larger, high-efficiency intercooler significantly reduces intake air temperatures under load, helping the engine maintain consistent power delivery during spirited driving and track use. Improved charge-air cooling also allows the engine to operate more efficiently and reliably under higher boost levels.

Exhaust flow is improved through the addition of an X-Force 4-inch to 3-inch high-flow downpipe and X-Force 3-inch centre exhaust section. These upgrades reduce exhaust back pressure, allowing the turbocharger to spool more efficiently while improving airflow throughout the entire exhaust system. The result is stronger mid-range torque, faster turbo response and increased power across the rev range.

To unlock the full potential of the hardware upgrades, HP-F performs a bespoke custom ECU recalibration tailored specifically to your vehicle. Extensive dyno testing is utilised to optimise boost pressure, ignition timing, fuel delivery and throttle response, ensuring safe, reliable and repeatable performance gains.

The result is an i30 N that feels noticeably sharper and more responsive, with stronger acceleration, improved turbocharger response and a broader, more usable powerband. Whether driven on the road or track, the additional performance is immediately noticeable.

Once tuning is complete, every vehicle undergoes comprehensive dyno validation and testing to verify performance, drivability and reliability. A final dyno run is then completed to compare against the original baseline figures, clearly demonstrating the gains achieved through the Stage 2 package.
