JEEP JK WRANGLER 3.6L | STAGE 1 | 330KW

The JK Wrangler 3.6L Stage 1 upgrade starts with our trained technician performing a baseline dyno run which allows us to make sure the car is running the way we expect, it also allows you to compare before and after dyno results. From there we continue by installing the Magnuson intercooled supercharger system to vastly increase the engine's breathing capabilities. We then custom tune your vehicle's PCM (Powertrain Control Module) on the dyno utilizing the latest ECU tuning software to maximize power and torque and to optimize fuel efficiency. We complete the upgrade process by recalibrating your automatic transmission to optimize shift points and trans pressures and testing your vehicle on the road to make final adjustments, optimizing your vehicle's performance and driveability. This is all completed in four to five days and at the end of this upgrade you will be provided with a dyno graph detailing the power & torque increase of your vehicle. We also offer exhaust upgrades for the Wrangler / Gladiator.

Supercharger – HPF selected the Magnuson positive displacement intercooled supercharger kit for the 3.6L Pentastar engine due to Magnuson’s OEM level of engineering and their engineers carefully matching a TVS1900 supercharger to operate in its peak thermal efficiency zone for almost the entire engine duty cycle. The result is super low inlet air temps for massive gains in horsepower and torque, producing V8 levels of performance at an affordable price. The TVS-1900 intercooled supercharger utilizes an Eaton 4-lobe rotor design with 160-degree twist and is a positive displacement type compressor utilizing an integrated vacuum bypass for instant boost response at low engine speeds. The Eaton TVS1900 rotor group is used by manufactures like Chevrolet’s LSA powered Camaro and the HSV GTS LSA among many others so you can be sure they are made to exacting OEM tolerance. Air temperature is offset by the integral water to air intercooler system. The ‘1900’ in the name of the supercharger refers to the amount of air displaced in one revolution of the supercharger, i.e. for every one revolution of the supercharger, 1900cc’s of air is displaced. Magnuson Superchargers are USA made and based in Ventura California, USA.

Dyno Tuning – By optimizing the engine tune parameters in the vehicles PCM to suit 98 octane fuel, we are able to increase both power and torque and maximise fuel economy. Late model naturally aspirated cars are generally tuned very well from the manufacturer so depending on the vehicle platform mechanical parts to improve the engines intake & exhaust flow may need to be added to really get good gains. Engines fitted with a turbocharger from factory are much easier to enhance as increasing boost pressure by tuning works extremely well.Late model AT (Automatic Transmission) are all computer controlled via a Transmission Control Unit (TCU), some TCUs are built in to the PCM, while others are separate computers. By optimizing the AT shift points and line pressures we are able to match the AT’s shift strategies with the engines new powerband. This can transform the way the car drives and for many models it’s a mandatory requirement when parts like superchargers, large turbochargers, camshaft upgrades, high stall torque converters, etc, are Installed.
