VFII 6.2L HPF Stage 6 | 490KW
The HPF LS3 Stage-6 upgrade starts with our trained technician fitting a Harrop FDFI-2300 intercooled supercharger kit. The air intake is also replaced as part of the package and the standard air box is removed and replaced with an ‘Over the Radiator’ Cold Air Induction system with a high flow, serviceable air filter element. We then custom tune your vehicle's ECU on the dyno utilizing the latest ECU tuning software to maximize power and torque and to optimize fuel efficiency. We complete the upgrade process by testing your vehicle on the road to make final adjustments, optimizing your vehicle's performance and driveability. This is all completed in four to five days and at the end of this upgrade you will be provided with a dyno graph detailing the power & torque increase of your vehicle. Flex Fuel (E85) is an option, talk to one of our Sales Representatives.
- Cold air intake - The Harrop ‘Over the Radiator’ Air Induction (OTR) system features a large diameter free-flowing intake path to ensure maximum performance from your LS3 powered vehicle. It features a large surface area panel air filter mounted directly in front of the engines throttle body and is designed to draw straight in from the grille opening. This design assists in minimizing the restriction of air flow and eliminates the intake of hot air from inside the engine bay.
- Supercharger – HPF works very closely with Harrop engineering and we are one of only 3 Premium Dealers in Victoria. The FDFI-2300 intercooled supercharger utilizes an Eaton 4-lobe rotor design with 160-degree twist and is a positive displacement type compressor made to exacting OEM tolerances. The rotor group is used by manufactures like Chevrolet’s LS9 powered Corvette and the HSV GTS-R W1. Air temperature is offset by the integral water to air intercooler system. The ‘2300’ in the name of the supercharger refers to the amount of air displaced in one revolution of the supercharger, i.e. for every one revolution of the supercharger, 2300cc’s of air is displaced. Harrop products are designed and built in Preston, Victoria.
- Dyno Tuning – By optimizing the engine tune parameters in the vehicles PCM to suit 98 octane fuel, we are able to increase both power and torque and maximise fuel economy. Late model naturally aspirated cars are generally tuned very well from the manufacturer so depending on the vehicle platform mechanical parts to improve the engines intake & exhaust
- (NOTE- To achieve the quoted power levels, the vehicle must have a full exhaust system already fitted. We recommend 3")

Key Features
Engines work by creating a vacuum in the cylinder when the piston descends the bore of the engine, that vacuum draws air into the cylinder, it's then mixed with fuel, sealed up and ignited. More air + more fuel = more power. Simples. Now, think what might happen if instead of relying just on the vacuum created by the piston movement, we could create higher pressure on the intake side so every time the piston descends the cylinder, more air than what would naturally be drawn into the engine is forced into the cylinder... The Stage-6 provides gobs of power from idle, the Harrop S/C kit is OEM quality and it can support 1000hp plus.
Notes
- Power figures are estimates only and actual figure's may vary based on each specific vehicle.
- We recommend all vehicles coming to HPF for tuning run 98 Octane fuel. Please contact us if you have a need to use different fuel.
- Quoted power figures are approximate and calculated at the flywheel.
- Modifications such as this package require the vehicle to be in excellent mechanical order.
- We advise against increasing the power output substantially on high kilometer engines, if your engine has in excessive of 150,000kms please contact us to discuss options.
- Whilst every attempt is made to ensure prices listed online are correct, they are subject to change at any time.
- Additional parts may be required in some cases depending on the condition of the vehicle. Cost of these parts and additional labor required may incur additional cost.
- Final price may vary dependent on specific options chosen.
