Stroker - Late Model Gen 3 Hemi
In the context of engines, the term "stroker" refers to an engine that has had its stroke increased, typically by using a crankshaft with a longer stroke. This modification increases the displacement of the engine, which can result in improved torque and horsepower. Stroker engines are often used in performance and racing applications to enhance the overall power output of the engine. In the case of your Hemi 5.7L engine, the capacity is increased to 6.4L, whereas the 6.1L, 6.2L and 6.4L goes to 7 litre or 426ci in the old money. As an example, the Mopar Hellephant A30 & C170 are both factory ‘stroker’ engines. The HPF Stroker engine package is a comprehensive upgrade that starts with our trained technicians designing and building you a new stroker engine package, it can be supplied as a complete turn-key engine supplied and fitted including a high-performance camshaft, CNC ported cylinder heads or a short motor as a forged upgrade in a boosted application. Once completed, the new engine is fitted to your vehicle and we custom tune your vehicle's ECU on the dyno, utilising the latest tuning software to maximize the power and torque of your new engine. We complete the upgrade process by testing your vehicle on the road to make final adjustments, optimizing your vehicles performance and driveability. This is all completed in approximately 4 weeks and at the end of this upgrade we will provide you with a dyno graph detailing the power & torque increase of your vehicle.
This package is a complete "drive in drive" out package and utilises the customers existing engine which must be in serviceable condition and is for customers who want to keep stock appearance under the hood for a variety of reasons including insurance, law enforcement and factory service issues. Other than a slightly aggressive idle* it is impossible to tell the difference from a standard engine externally, except when you drive it of course. If you are after a serious increase in torque then the HPF Stroker package might just be the upgrade for you! Flex Fuel (E85) is an option, talk to one of our Sales Representatives.
These engines can be built to suit naturally aspirated applications, forced induction or as an upgrade for your Trackhawk engine. We also offer aftermarket manifolds and or cylinder blocks for all out boosted or aspirated engine combinations.
