The HPF Stage 1 upgrade for the Toyota GR Yaris is engineered to unlock the vehicle’s untapped performance potential by enhancing airflow, strengthening valvetrain stability, and delivering a fully customised ECU calibration. This package provides a sharper, more responsive driving experience while maintaining the reliability and daily usability expected from Toyota’s flagship performance hatch.
Our trained technicians begin with a baseline dyno run to verify the vehicle’s condition and establish accurate factory power and torque figures. This ensures the upgrade is built on a solid foundation and allows us to provide a precise before‑and‑after comparison once tuning is complete.
We then install the AFE Power cold‑air intake, designed to improve airflow volume and reduce intake restriction. This upgrade allows the turbocharger to spool faster and maintain boost more efficiently across the rev range. To complement the improved intake system, we fit the Invidia Q300 cat‑back exhaust, enhancing exhaust flow and giving the GR Yaris a deeper, more refined performance tone without excessive cabin noise.
To support higher boost levels and sustained high‑RPM operation, we upgrade the valvetrain with Kelford Cams KVS264 valve springs. These springs provide increased seat pressure and stability, ensuring reliable performance under aggressive driving and tuning conditions.
With the hardware installed, we move to the calibration phase. Using the latest tuning tools, we perform a custom ECU remap and full dyno recalibration, optimising boost control, fuel delivery, ignition timing and torque management strategies. This tailored approach ensures the upgraded components work together seamlessly, delivering stronger mid‑range torque, improved throttle response and a more engaging power curve.
The upgrade is finalised with comprehensive dyno and road testing, allowing us to refine drivability, confirm consistency under load, and ensure the vehicle performs flawlessly in real‑world conditions. At completion, you will receive a dyno graph showing the before‑and‑after gains achieved by the HPF Stage 1 package.
