The HPF Stage 2 upgrade for the Toyota GR Yaris is engineered to deliver a substantial increase in performance by enhancing airflow, exhaust efficiency, intercooler capacity and valvetrain stability, all supported by a fully customised ECU calibration. This package is designed for owners seeking a sharper, more responsive and more powerful driving experience while retaining the reliability expected from Toyota’s G16E‑GTS platform.

Our technicians begin by fitting the AFE Power cold‑air intake, improving airflow volume and reducing restriction before the turbocharger. This upgrade allows the turbo to spool faster and maintain boost more effectively across the rev range. To complement the intake system, we install the XForce turbo‑back exhaust system, significantly reducing back‑pressure and enabling the turbocharger to operate more efficiently while delivering a deeper, more aggressive exhaust note.

To manage the increased airflow and boost levels, we upgrade the charge‑air cooling system with the Process West intercooler kit (suit factory piping). This high‑efficiency intercooler provides superior thermal control, reducing intake temperatures and ensuring consistent performance during repeated acceleration, track use or spirited driving.

For enhanced reliability under higher boost and sustained high‑RPM operation, we fit Kelford Cams KVS264 valve springs. These springs provide increased seat pressure and stability, preventing valve float and ensuring the engine remains stable and responsive under demanding conditions.

With the hardware installed, we move to the calibration phase. Using the latest tuning tools, we perform a custom remap and full ECU recalibration on the dyno, optimising boost control, fuel delivery, ignition timing and torque management strategies. This ensures all upgraded components work together seamlessly, delivering stronger mid‑range torque, improved throttle response and a more linear, engaging power curve.

The upgrade is finalised with comprehensive dyno and road testing to validate performance, drivability and consistency in real‑world conditions. At completion, you will receive a dyno graph showing the before‑and‑after gains achieved by the HPF Stage 2 package.
