The Mustang 2.3L EcoBoost Stage 2 upgrade is designed to significantly enhance your vehicle's performance through a series of high-quality modifications. The upgrade process starts with our trained technician installing a high-flow air intake system, which increases the engine's breathing capabilities and improves airflow efficiency.

Next, we replace the EcoBoost's undersized intercooler with a new direct fit COBB EcoBoost Mustang intercooler, which drastically improves power delivery. The stock front-mounted intercooler (FMIC) can struggle with heat soak, particularly under heavy load. The COBB intercooler addresses this issue through computer fluid dynamic analysis conducted during its R&D process, which led to the inclusion of air diverting fins in the end tanks. This design maximizes the utilization of the larger intercooler core, ensuring that your EcoBoost Mustang benefits from significantly cooler charge air.

The installation of the COBB FMIC requires no modifications to the vehicle, making it a straightforward upgrade that is compatible with the factory MAP sensor. With the intercooler in place, you’ll experience a marked improvement in engine response and power output.

To harmonize all these enhancements, we proceed to custom tune your vehicle's ECU on the dynamometer. Utilizing the latest ECU tuning software, we maximize power, torque, and fuel efficiency, ensuring all components work seamlessly together.

The upgrade process is completed with dedicated road testing, allowing us to make any final adjustments necessary to further optimize your vehicle's performance and drivability. At the end of the upgrade, you will receive a dyno graph that compares the power and torque figures before and after the HPF upgrade, clearly showcasing the substantial improvements achieved.
