The Mustang 5.0L Stage 4 upgrade is meticulously crafted to deliver exceptional performance enhancements through a combination of high-quality components. The upgrade process begins with our trained technician installing the Harrop high-flow cold air intake system, which significantly improves airflow and complements the aggressive sound of your engine. Following this, we fit Harrop's acclaimed FDFI-2650 intercooled supercharger system, designed to provide a substantial boost in power and efficiency by greatly enhancing the engine's breathing capabilities.
To maximize exhaust flow and overall performance, we complete the package with the installation of a set of 1 7/8" 4-into-1 headers, paired with high-flow metallic catalytic converters. This setup ensures optimal exhaust evacuation and minimizes back pressure. Complementing these components, we fit a 3-inch stainless steel cat-back exhaust system that not only enhances flow but also delivers a captivating exhaust note that underscores the performance upgrades.
To further support the increased performance, we include a fuel pump upgrade and billet oil pump gears to ensure that your engine receives increased fuel delivery and reliable engine lubrication under high performance conditions.
Once all components are installed, we perform a custom tune of your vehicle’s ECU on the dynamometer. Using the latest Ford ECU tuning software, we fine-tune the engine for maximum power, torque, and fuel efficiency, ensuring that all upgraded parts work together seamlessly.
The upgrade process is finalized with thorough road testing, which allows us to make any necessary final adjustments to optimize your vehicle's overall performance and drivability. At the conclusion of the upgrade, we provide you with a dyno graph that compares the power and torque figures before and after the HPF upgrade, clearly demonstrating the significant improvements achieved.
Like all HPF upgrade packages, the Stage 4 upgrade is modular, giving customers the flexibility to incorporate further enhancements in the future without incurring unnecessary costs.
